Sapphire Coast Cardiology is pleased to provide local specialist cardiology services to the NSW South Coast.

Dr Sean Conte is a St Vincent’s Sydney trained cardiologist and physician with sub-specialty experience in echocardiography, heart failure, and cardiac CT in addition to general cardiology and complex internal medicine. Dr Conte is heavily involved with medical education and is conjoint staff at University of New South Wales and University of Notre Dame Australia.

Dr Conte has been working in the Bega Valley since 2020 when he supported South East Regional Hospital as a locum registrar. After completing cardiology training at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, he moved with his family to the south coast to take up a position as Cardiologist and General Physician at South East Regional Hospital and establish Sapphire Coast Cardiology. Sean is passionate about expanding both specialist services and access to high quality cardiology care in regional NSW.
